
Built in 1959, Tormore Distillery was designed to produce a fruity and elegant single malt. For over sixty years this delicious whisky was hidden in much-loved blends. Now the classic style is revived, full of orchard fruit notes and nutty richness.
Our beautiful distillery, nestled in the Cromdale Hills of Speyside, was so admired by neighbours and visitors in its early years that it earned the name Pearl of Speyside.

OUR STORY SO FAR
Since its earliest days, Tormore was more than just a place to make whisky. It was built as a beautiful vibrant village where a community could grow and thrive, and designed to create a fruity, elegant style of whisky. Our distillery has been making this style of whisky ever since. For much of that time Tormore’s whisky was hidden in some of the world’s best-loved blends and only occasionally released as a single malt. Today we are reviving the classic style of Tormore single malt with new energy and expertise, continuing the story of the
